Chris qualified with honors from Cardiff University in 2010 before returning to his hometown of Taunton in 2011. He gained invaluable surgical experience as a senior house officer in the Oral and Maxillofacial Department at Musgrove Park Hospital, where he worked for a year. Since then, he has dedicated himself to providing high-quality care in general dental practice across South West England.

In 2019, Chris and his wife, Lucy, took ownership of Jenkins Dental Practice. Together, they aim to continue the practice’s 30-year tradition of delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Known for his calm and approachable manner, Chris is deeply committed to the well-being of his patients. He consistently enhances his skills and knowledge through advanced training, ensuring the highest standard of care. Chris has completed a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Bristol, as well as the Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry course with Chris Orr in London, enabling him to deliver advanced restorative and cosmetic treatments for his patients.

In addition to his clinical work, Chris plays an active role in supporting families affected by cleft conditions. He is a member of the National Cleft Service Specification Working Group as a parental representative, contributing to the development of improved services and policies. He is also part of the CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association) Family Focus Group.

Outside of dentistry, Chris enjoys staying active. In 2018, he completed 11 half marathons, raising funds for the charity Bloodwise. While his rugby-playing days are behind him, he remains a passionate fan, supporting the Exeter Chiefs and cheering for Wales in the Six Nations tournament.
