We were delighted to be invited to take part in the Careers Afternoon at Elmhurst School for the Year 6 pupils.
The children were full of enthusiasm and asked some brilliant, thoughtful questions. We had a fantastic time and hope we inspired a few future dentists, hygienists, or nurses along the way!
We’re thrilled to share the exciting news that Madeleine Bagg, our wonderful hygienist, is expecting a baby!
She’ll be taking some time away from the practice for her maternity leave, and while we’ll miss her very much, we wish her all the best for this exciting new chapter. We can’t wait to meet the newest member of the Jenkins Dental family!

This position is initially to cover Madeleine’s maternity leave, but with our expansion and the upcoming completion of a new surgery, there may be an opportunity for a permanent role.

We’ve received an update from Colgate about the recent change in the consistency of Duraphat 2800 Fluoride Toothpaste.
The reformulation, approved in May 2024, involved removing titanium dioxide—the ingredient responsible for the white colour. As a result, the toothpaste now has a more gel-like appearance, but rest assured, it remains just as effective.
We’re very pleased to welcome Luna, our new trainee dental nurse, to the Jenkins Dental team.
Luna joins us with previous experience and is already settling in brilliantly. We wish her all the best with her training and upcoming exams!
