Charles has worked as a Dentist for over 10 years and more recently has started working as a Dentist with enhanced skills in Endodontics (root canal treatment). After earning his degree from Leeds in 2015, he continued his training in Edinburgh before settling in Somerset. In 2016, Charles achieved his MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in London, further enhancing his expertise whilst treating both NHS and private patients.

Charles believes that effective communication is a cornerstone of excellent patient care. He takes the time to ensure patients fully understand their treatment options and feel comfortable throughout their dental journey, particularly those who experience dental anxiety.

As a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) and the Faculty of General Dental Practice (FGDP), Charles benefits from access to a wealth of academic resources and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Charles has a particular interest in root canal treatment and is currently undertaking an MSc in this field, further developing his knowledge and clinical skills. Most recently achieving a distinction for the first 2 years, which are equivalent to a Postgraduate Diploma. This postgraduate study reflects his commitment to continual professional development and to providing high-quality, evidence-based care for his patients.

Outside of dentistry, Charles enjoys spending quality time with his family and likes to keep fit and active, with running being one of his favourite ways to stay healthy and unwind. He is also a keen music lover and has taken on the important role of being in charge of the practice playlist, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for both patients and the team.

With his patient-centred approach, emphasis on clear communication and commitment to developing advanced clinical skills, Charles is dedicated to delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring every patient feels comfortable and well cared for.
