– College of General Dentistry (CGDent) 2016

Charles graduated from Leeds in 2015 before doing further training in Edinburgh and eventually settling down in Somerset. He further achieved his MJDF Diploma at the Royal College of Surgeons in London in 2016 whilst developing skills treating both NHS and private patients.

In order to provide the highest quality care Charles feels it is essential to utilise effective communication skills. He believes this allows patients to fully understand the treatment and minimise anxiety. Charles has gained great experience in treating and putting anxious patients at ease. He spent part of his time working in a fully private practice where we saw many new patients who had avoided visiting a dentist for many years.

Being a member of RCS and FGDP gives him opportunity to access a wide variety of academic resources and further training. Charles sees orthodontics as an area of dentistry that patients are increasingly interested in and so in the future hopes to do further training in this field.
