If you have never heard of Invisalign, it is a popular way to straighten your teeth. The treatment involves wearing a series of clear aligners/trays that move your teeth and straighten your smile.

How long do you have to wear Invisalign?

You have to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours per day to ensure that the treatment is effective. You have to remove the trays for eating. Most courses of treatment can range from 12-18 months, however, this depends on your individual case.

Can you notice Invisalign?

The clear aligners are almost invisible. However, some people will notice that you have something on your teeth as the clear plastic makes your teeth look shiny. This method of straightening your teeth is a lot more discreet than other forms of orthodontic treatment.

Does Invisalign make you talk funny?

Most people can talk very well with the aligners in. Initially you may experience a slight lisp but it disappears after a few days.

Will my teeth move back after Invisalign?

Teeth will return to their original position if you don’t wear retainers. Retainers can be in the form of a fixed wire behind your teeth or you can have removable trays, a lot like the Invisalign aligners themselves. You would wear the removable trays at night.

How much is Invisalign?

The cost of this treatment starts at £2500, however, this can vary according to the complexity of your case.
